A big hello to all our crafty friends,
It's my turn to share a little creativity and this time I am using the gorgeous Neverending Summer paper collection from LemonCraft.
In particular I've created with the pinks and blues in this paper collection.
Ta da - we have one box ...
Now inside that one box we have a wee surprise.
We surely do ...
I've called this project my 'butterfly box'.
Ta da - we have another box.
Let me share a little more detail on this part of the project.
My floral embellishment cluster.
Cut out three leaves, two floral die cuts, cut out some small pieces of corrugated cardboard - you will also need a little muslin [cheesecloth], liquid adhesive, a flower of some sort for the top and some stamens and/or baubles.
Take one small piece of corrugated card and put a dollop of adhesive on top, adhere your three leaves, then another dollop of glue, a little muslin, before you then adhere down one of your floral die cuts.
Now just before you adhere, tweak your petals with your fingers, roughen them up a little, add another dollop of glue, another small piece of corrugated card and your next paper floral layer and then on the top your flower itself.
You can see the height a little between the layers.
Now grab a few stamens - I tend to use three for each stamen cluster that I am making - I fold them in half and twist them a few times and then tuck them in with glue.
On the top of the box - a blue embellishment cluster
Each inside panel has been decorated ...
and again ...
