Hey all!! Ok I am super thrilled to be announcing our April KOM Guest Designer!! She has always provided me with LOADs of inspiring work, and always have been one of my most fave designers out there. Drum Roll please....

Flying Unicorn gives a big warm welcome to IRENE TAN!!

Bio:

My name is Irene Tan or more known as “Scrapperlicious”. I'm a mother of two and I have the most wonderful family that always supports me in pursuing my passion. Scrapbooking to me is really about family and life. There's nothing more fun and inspiring than to scrap photographs captured everyday of our loved ones and the moments spent together. My scrapping motto has always been "Scrap with your heart and don’t forget to have fun too!"
I officially started scrapbooking in March 2007 and a couple of months later, I discovered an absolute love of stamping and inking. I don’t really know how to describe my style of scrapping. It really depends on how my inspirations and mood takes me while I'm creating. I’m so excited to guest design for this kit and can’t wait to see what the outcome is.

We asked Irene a few questions so we could get to know the artist behind the art. Here is what she had to say..

1. Who would you like to have lunch with dead or alive?

Answer: My family members are always my priority when it comes to having meals with. This is a very valuable time for us as we normally chat about our daily encounters and experiences during the meals.

2. Your 5 favorite songs?

Answer: This is kind of difficult. I can't really give 5 songs only. I think most of my favorite songs are normally songs about emotions and it has very little background music to it for example acoustic. Here are some example, Jealous by Labrinth, Tonight I Wanna Cry by Keith Urban

3. If you could live anywhere in the world where would it be?

Answer: I guess it will still be where I am now, the place I'm born. Even though I love travelling around the world, I would always think back of the people, the climate, the culture and the food back home. All these has formed me into who I am today.

4. What other interests do you have other than this wonderful hobby?

Answer: I do have quite a number of hobbies besides this. For example, one of my most absolute love is travelling with my family. I love to explore the different cultures of others, the interesting architecture, the wonderful food and sceneries. Besides that, I'm also into stitching. Can you believe that? LOL! I love stitching cross-stitches. I also love to read and do some gardening. Coloring is also something I enjoy doing.

5. What are your 3 favorite tools? The ones that you can’t live without.

Answer: This is an easy one. They are scissors, adhesives and inks/paints.

So awesome getting to know this lovely lady! I think learning that she also loves to do cross stitching is super cool! That takes a lot of patients to do! LOL I have tried and didn't do so well.
