Time for me to share a little creativity.
I'm going to share with you how I made the base of this card - it really is so easy to put together and it really does have that 'wow' factor.
A warning though - photo heavy.
How did I make this card?
Cut one piece of cardstock 10" x 5" wide and score in half.
Cut one piece of patterned paper 4 and 3/4" square.
Cut one piece of cardstock 4 and 1/2" square.
I have used a Marianne Design metal die - centre - hold in place with a small piece of washi tape to hold in place and run through Cuttlebug or similar.
Cut one piece of patterned paper 4 and 1/4" square.
Position a circle metal die in the centre of your paper - add a piece of washi tape to hold in place and run through Cuttlebug or similar.
Now adhere your largest piece of patterned paper, centred on your card base.
Adhere your smallest piece of patterned paper on your 4 and 1/2" cardstock.
Flip over and adhere foam mounting squares or dots to lift this layer.
Flip back and adhere as you can see in this photo.
This forms the base of your card.
Now embellish.
Add a little muslin, some flowers, some leaves, feathers, baubles, tags and string.
On this card I have threaded some snowflakes on some plastic wire and entwined them in amongst the flowers and baubles.
A closer look at that embellishment cluster.
