Tammy decided to give a vintage/mixed media twist to the sketch. Using pops of gold to warm the sketch up a bit. Tammy's tip on choosing a color to go along with your pattern paper is use the area behind the photo to sample your chosen colors to see if they will work together. Here is her example photo..
Her goal was to match up the colors in the paper itself already. Sometimes matching up can be tricky. by using the area that won't be seen anyway, you are sure to get a perfect match and not be stuck with a dilemma of a wrong color choice. Here are some close ups of her LO.
