It's my turn to share a project or two ...
I've played a little with gesso and modelling paste and mists; lots of different mists.
I pulled a piece of water colour paper from my pad [that is occasionally used for my art journal] and wiped it over with a clear gesso and dried with the heat gun.
I then cut my paper into smaller workable pieces.
I've sprayed with various mists for a little colour and then used my heat gun to dry.
Then I've used this Crafter's Workshop Template with some modelling paste - isn't it absolutely gorgeous. Gosh, I love this one.
And then I've sprayed some more.
Have to say I had the inky fingers look going on for a day or two and my background pieces all looked similar to this.
Then I really did just grab a few bits and pieces that were lying around, turned on the hot glue gun and embellished; used a little Stazon ink around the edges and adhered to cardstock.
another card where I 'askewed' the top slightly before adhering
and then another one, flush
