It's Mojo Monday at the Flying Unicorn

 

What does that mean? Every Monday, the Unicorns post a sketch created by me, or by Design Team Member, Tammy Henderson. These sketches are made to jump start your creative mojo into high gear. Skeptical? Come see for yourself and you be the judge.   You'll thank us later. 

 

Anyway, after it's posted Monday morning, you have one week to give the sketch a whirl and upload your interpretation to the Flying Unicorn Mojo Monday Forum Thread.  A gift card prize is awarded each week.  

 

So come and join us.  This week's sketch was created by me ... Alda 

 

The  amazing interpretation of the sketch this week was put into the  creative hands of  Creative Team Member Jen  and  oh what  eye candy  she  has displayed for us all to enjoy!   She decided to play just a bit with some of the many many paints, mists and inks from the Flying Unicorn Store.  She has been slowly accumulating them and now was the time to try them out.  You can try some too with that sweet gift card to the Unicorn store when you win!

First up, 13Arts Mists that came in the February Kit of the Month.  Then she used some Lindy's Mists, Splash of Color Silk glaze, and Shimmerz Spritz.  

Jen sprayed some mist on my craft mat, then made my circles on the page with a dinner plate dipped in the mist.  Like a giant coffee or beverage ring - her's was  just dinner sized.

Jen wrote a quote from a book, The Little Prince, by Antione de  Saint Exupery, 
"The most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or touched , they are felt with the heart."

She used a pencil to write on the page.  This way she could make all the mistakes she wanted and erase.  She was fearless with the pencil.  After Jen was done with the page, she did  spray it with a sealant to prevent smudges.

She also penciled the word beautiful around her  page here and there.

01. You have one week to create your project using the sketch as inspiration ( it does not have to be a layout it can be a card, a tag etc )

02. You must post your creation in this thread in order to be eligible for the 10.00 GC

03. You may use your project for any other monthly forum challenges except for the Anything goes challenge

04. Your project must be posted no later than 8:00pm on 02.016.2014

05. All other standard rules apply .
