Hi everyone
Angelica here to share a project that i did for a friend. She, like me loves sweets -especially chocolate- so I thought I'd surprise her with a candy egg. I took an old easter egg and paited it with black and white acrylic paint, used an old tootyhbrush to sprits the color. I cut out a vintage image of a cute little baby sitting in a nest and dressed him up properly in a witch-costume for toddlers.
Time to pick out decorations :) I decided to do a kind of "moon shine-ish" egg, So I grabbed Lumiere paint, silver stickles, and black paint dabber, and started to paint my embellishments.
Some paper leaf painted with Halo Blue Gold from Jacquard, sisal and moss from my stash( to create a little birds nest) tiny glass jars from Tim Holtz, black feathers, a chipboard branch and spider web from Dusty Attic and a silver border from Teresa Collins ...And then I went to bed. Today when I woke up I was not happy at all with that blue-ish tones...so I changed the entire color scheme to autumn colors. So now it looks like this:
Here are some closeups, where you can see some of the little witch toddlers favorite toys : a shrunkend skull inside a glas bowl and a worm in a jar
And his pet, a black widow spider named Alfie.
That´s all folks! Happy Haunting :)
