Hey scrapping friends! Denise here to share with you a few of my lo's I did using the new August kit "Remember the Tomorrows". I have to say..and I know I have said this before...but this is by far my favorite kit Alda has put together. The papers, embellies and flowers..are to die for!! The OTP is my favorite and I can't wait to share that with you soon!!

I created this lo using the Websters papers that came with the kit. I also did if for a challenge Lisa is having in the forums this month. You had to create a lo using a Mother Goose rhyme. I could not find a picture to save my life of course..so I went with the only pic I could think of. I chose the "I sing..I sing" rhyme for this. The journaling is handwritten around the circle. I only used half of the ryhme because we only needed the title in it..and let's face it..I ran out of room.

I used my MS Blooming Vines punch around the black Websters paper and added a piece of cardstock from the add on kit to it for more support. I cut a cirlce and used Lisa Gregory's tutorial to punch around the edges. Did some stitching as well.
Part of the challenge is you have to have a colored image..so I grabbed my stamp and come Copics and then fussy cut to get a small branch with leaves.
I added some DA grass clusters that I got from the Flying Unicorn Store and cut the doily (from the kit) in half so I could use it in two different places.
For the challenge you had to make 2 embellishments using at least 3 different mediums. I pulled out a brown tag and the mistables paper..kinda like crepe paper and covered the tag with it. I then used glam over it and some Gesso and Stickles. I also made an embellie using Timmy's fragments, Glossy Accents, Gesso and a little paper and paint.
For this next one..it's what I like to call a re-do. I have scrapped this pic before a couple years ago and I've been going thru some of my older lo's redoing them. I used the KC Lakehouse Collection from the kit to make this one.
I LOVE this collection..it has to be one of my all time faves from KC. I love the wooden chippies and I used the rubons from the kit to add to the "Adore" one.
The flowers in the kit and add on..rock!! Just sayin..Alda sure knows her flowers!!
I think the only thing not from the kit is the rub on Cameo I had saved from a previous kit. I love the Zva pearls too!
Ok talk about re-do's. This picture I did about 6 years ago and when I looked at the LO I said out loud..WHAT was I thinking!!?? LOL! I'm telling you all I had on there was a huge white flower..some journaling and paper tags..it was screaming to be revamped! It is a pic of my and dh outside the little country church we were married in.
The DA window/door and fountain did not come with the kit but I have been itching to use them! I love the little leaf stamp that is included with the kit and used it generously..it's become one of my new faves!
