Just sharing a quick tutorial on how to do a technique called "Ghosting" using Distress Inks. It really adds a cool background look to a page. I use it quite a bit in my art journal! I'm going to show you two different methods. Some people like the baby wipes, but I prefer paper towels with some water. You'll see why.
You will need:
Step 1. Choose coordinating colors of Distress Inks.
2. Cover your page/area using inks. Blend using circular motions and allow the colors to 'flow' into one another.
3. Place your mask where you want it. Using a paper towel misted with water, gently wipe away the ink. You will see the ink fade away.
4. This is the result
You get a really cool background look!
